A Nikkei Experience at INTI – Menu Tasting

INTI Nikkei restaurant gives you an experience from the moment you step into the One Africa building situated in Westlands along the Waiyaki way.  The restaurant has its own private elevator! It makes you feel like a movie star, being ushered in through the elevator into the magnificence that is INTI. The views alone are enough to satisfy your sight.

The menu is a combination of both Japanese & Peruvian ingredients. We started off with cleansing our taste buds with an alcoholic drink Pisco sour. The drink is quite strong but very soothing to the throat.

The first course was the Peruvian Ceviche, Ceviche Nikkei, Civei Mixto and a vegan-based mango Caribbean Ceviche. This dish is best for vegetarians and vegans, it’s absolutely delicious and the array of ingredients busting in your mouth will leave you wanting more.

The second course was the Mango Maki roll, Truffle Maki roll, Phila Maki roll, and Acevicado Maki roll. My personal favorite was the Mango Maki roll, maybe because I just love fruit in anything.

The third course was all about meat. We had some prawn-bacon robuta, beef tenderloin robuta, veg esfera, arroscon marisco and sakanayaki. The prawn-bacon robuta with the sauce was my absolute best, the meat was well cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. I could eat this meal more times than my body would want.

For dessert, we had the Inka gold. You may not be a sweet tooth but trust me when I say the dark chocolate is a must-taste.

The Nikkei experience is spot on, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to discover something new to set a reservation at INTI.
