Royalty and Glamour on Display at Millionaires Casino Launch

Something about getting dressed up on a Saturday night and heading to the launch of the biggest casino in East and Central Africa just screams royalty and glamour. That was everyone who attended the much-anticipated launch of Millionaires Casino this past weekend at Two Rivers Mall.

Doors opened at 5 pm with guests being ushered in with a welcome drink and some appetizing bites as they walked the red carpet fitted for Millionaires.

Food and drinks were flowing all night as guests indulged in gaming activities. Others were treated to entertainment by our very own Sauti Sol among other acts who did not disappoint.

The highlight of the night was when businessman Dr. Chris Kirubi and the Chairman of Millionaires Casino broke the ice, literally … and thus officially launching the establishment.

The 2600 sq. ft, 14 million-dollar establishment boasts of 40 live game tables with a permanent stage for entertainment. Talking to the General Manager of Millionaires Casino, he stated that they want to bring a unique feel to the Kenyan gaming sector and have the newest tech, some of which haven’t been used anywhere else in Africa. It was evident that the quality of the gaming tables, slot machines, leather seats, and even chandeliers was state of the art.

The casino, which was initially scheduled to open on the 21st of August, was forced to cancel as they faced challenges with the licensing. The General Manager pointed out that they are investors who believe in the system and they have every intention of abiding by the laws set and even paying due tax as this has been a controversial issue in the Kenyan gaming sector.

This is definitely a place that will make the gaming scene in Nairobi even more exciting.
